Bob haf, mae DASH yn darparu 12 diwrnod gweithgaredd ar gyfer pobl ifanc sydd ag anghenion ychwanegol a anableddau dros 12 oed ar draws Ceredigion. Yr haf hwn, oherwydd diffyg arian, ar hyn o bryd dim ond 50% o’n gwasanaeth y gallwn ei darparu. Felly, rydym yn gofyn am eich cefnogaeth caredig i godi’r £10,000 sy’n weddill sydd ei angen i sicrhau bod pob person ifanc yn cael y cyfleoedd y maen nhw’n eu haeddu dros y gwyliau haf.

DASH Ceredigion
Mae DASH Ceredigion yn cefnogi tua 50 o blant a phobl ifanc ag anableddau a anghenion ychwanegol (o 4 i 25 oed) a’u teuluoedd ar draws Ceredigion. Mae gan nifer o’r bobl ifanc rydym yn gweithio gyda awtistiaeth, anableddau dysgu, namau corfforol neu anghenion cymhleth, ac maent yn amly yn byw mewn cartrefi incwm isel mewn cymunedau gwledig. 

Ar draws Ceredigion, mae plant a phobl ifanc ag anableddau a anghenion ychwanegol yn gwynebu rhwystrau dyddiol i cyfleoedd a chefnogaeth. Mae llawer o’r plant yn profi unigedd a mynediad cyfyngedig i weithgareddau y mae eu cydymaith yn eu hystyried yn naturiol. Yn aml, nid oes gan blant mynediad i le diogel i gymdeithasu, datblygu sgiliau a chynyddu hyder, tra bod rhieni a gofalwyr yn wynebu lefelau uchel o straen a prin amser i ymlacio. Mae unigedd gwledig yn gwaethygu’r heriau hyn, gyda darpariaeth lleol gyfyngedig a theithiau hir i gyrraedd gwasanaethau arbenigol. Heb gefnogaeth neilltuol, mae plant mewn perygl o golli cyfleoedd hanfodol pwysig.

Each summer, DASH provides 12 activity days for young people with additional needs and disabilities over the age of 12 across Ceredigion. This summer, due to lack of funding we are currently only able to provide 50% of our usual scheme provision. We are therefore urgently seeking your support to raise the remaining £10,000 we need to ensure that every young person gets access to the experiences they deserve over the summer holidays.

DASH Ceredigion
DASH Ceredigion supports around 50 children and young people with disabilities and additional needs (aged 4–25) and their families across Ceredigion. Many of the young people we work with have autism, learning disabilities, physical impairments or complex needs, and live in low-income households in rural communities.

Across Ceredigion, children and young people with disabilities and additional needs face daily barriers to inclusion, opportunities and support. Many of our beneficiaries experience isolation and limited access to activities that their peers take for granted. Children often lack safe, accessible spaces to socialise, develop skills and build confidence, while parents and carers face high levels of stress and limited respite, leaving little time to recharge. Rural isolation intensifies these challenges, with limited local provision and long travel times to reach specialist services. Without dedicated support, children risk missing crucial opportunities to learn, grow and thrive, while families struggle to cope alone.
